television listings and movie theatres are filled with lots of seasonal films now, and many dvds are also available for films from earlier years.
i confess to having a difficult time selecting just one.
among my favorites would have to be christmas vacation, with chevy chase.

Very cool hats on ya' Dr. Watson. I kind of like the cowboy hat but looks more like the hat on the hero guy in "Raiders of the lost Ark"...

the finale is this coming sunday, already.
i am pretty surprised how fast it seems to have gone this time.. anyone have a guess as to who will win?.
i think twyla.............but last week i thought ami had it all wrapped up and she got voted off.
Yup!.. I've been watching Survivor but missed this weeks episode. I don't know who got the boot. Hey, Princess. I agree as I too felt that it was very draggy for the first half. They seem to have it a lot easier than some of the previous people that competed. I remember the group that were just sooooo starving. These guys seem to be eating pretty darn good after they was shown by Kinta-Kunta what they could eat and how to identify and find it.
This year I've also really enjoyed "The Apprentice".. It's down to Jennifer and Kelly. It's the first time I've watched that "real T.V." show and I have enjoyed it. The "Trumpinator" (Donald Trump) sure has a lot of nice toys, jets, helicopters, cars, ..mega rich guy. Oh, and I'm rooting for Kelly on this one.

as some of you are aware, it is hunting season right now where live.the hunters have pushed (ran the deer out of the bush's) every bush that there has to be had around here.in other word's ( for those who are not sure of what i mean) they walk all the bushes and woods to get the deer to come out to hunt and kill them.
killing the deer i have no problem with.
it's when the deer almost kill me and my family i begin to have a problem.. last night at about 11.00pm i was taking home my son's girlfriend home.
Hi Morty..
Sorry about your crash and the deer. Sometimes you have no choice when animals run in front of you.
I have a girlfriend that has run into 2 in the last 2 months. Man what a mess.
I've heard some people tell me, re insurance, and hitting a deer that if they ask you what happened it is better to say that the deer ran straight into you. For some reason the insurance agency doesn't like to hear that you ran into the deer. Depends on the Insurance agency I guess.
$500 bucks out of your Christmas money has gotta hurt too. Take care of that knee and I hope you can get some wheels by Christmas. Can you shop on line and get some free deliveries to your house. It's still hard though when you can't get around, especially when you have kids that need to be carted around to hockey and such. Hope the insurance company pays for a replacement vehicle until you get another one.
sincerely

yup.
that is the big question here in halifax, nova scotia.
cbc radio want to know what is bigger a bruhaha or a kerfuffle?.
Lets see what I have here now.
Hmm?
Senior Kaethra, feels Bruhaha in Canadian is "Brew-haha Eh!" I think she is probably right about that.
Little1 adds a ruckus or in bible times it was referred to a "rock-us"..(stoning)..that was way more painful than a either a brewhaha or a kerfuffle and was even a major commotion.
Big Tex, I believe brought up the fine art of a "to-do".. or in Canadian it may be a big "ta-da".
The clincher here is, Ringo5 (alias Pinky from Pinky in the brain) he likes the more Irish version of a Bru or Brew haha.. gutterly deep in the throat irish Brough-haha followed by a hubbub and kerfuffles occuring at hoedowns. Ringo5 man, I think you just dosie-doed around the whole thing here and are just trying to kick up a big Hall-a-ba-loo!..you little debbil..I may have to chase you for a dance..if Kaethra doesn't grab you first..

Hi Leilani
Welcome to the forum. Sorry, your family seems to be being hit hard by cancer. I wish we could find a permanent cure for it. Like a booster shot or something like that. Cancer has claimed so many people I know.
Hang in there and hope to see you posting around this ex JW forum.

Our CBC radio program has it all figured out now and the official word is in.
A Bruhaha is bigger than a kerfuffle.
I just wanted you all to know that. LOL

jw kids are repressed in every aspect of their lives, creatively, intellectually, atheletically...the list goes on.. what did you love to do as a kid, yet weren't permitted to do?.
i personally loved football as a kid.
other jw kids and i would play every weekend until the subject was brought up at an assembly as being competitive.
I don't know kwin. I think it would be quite hard to conceal.. smokin' a football. Hmm?
But I do know what you're talking about.
I loved to dance and play basketball and baseball but as a J.W. kid I wasn't allowed to school dances and not allowed on sports teams. .. GRRR!!!!. My husband and I took up ballroom dancing right after we were disfellowshipped. It was GREAT! and it kept us having some fun together every week and we gradually met some new friends and then went to local dances in our area.
